See ticketsBorussia Dortmund play at the Signal Iduna Park, long known as the Westfalenstadion, opened in 1974 for the World Cup. Expanded several times, it is now Germany's biggest stadium, with over 81,000 places for league games thanks to its standing terraces.
The stadium is a rectangle of four stands right next to the pitch. The Südtribüne, the famous "Yellow Wall", holds around 25,000 standing fans: the biggest terrace of its kind in Europe. The Westtribüne houses the boxes and VIP areas, the Osttribüne faces it, and the Nordtribüne has standing places and the away section.
BVB sell out almost every match, with one of the best attendances in the world. The Revierderby against Schalke and der Klassiker against Bayern are the most sought-after tickets.
Each stand offers a different experience. Here is what you need to know.
The famous "Yellow Wall", Europe's biggest standing terrace with around 25,000 places. Songs, flags and giant tifos: a unique experience in world football.
The main stand, with the dugouts, the boxes and the VIP areas. The central blocks (Category 1 Platinum) offer the best view in the stadium.
The opposite side stand, over two tiers. An excellent overall view, with Category 1 seats at the top that are often a little cheaper.
Behind the other goal, in Category 3. It also has standing places and, in the corner, the away section.
Hover over the plan to find each area. Prices by stand are shown on each match page.
U-Bahn U45, Stadion station, or S-Bahn S4, Signal Iduna Park station: a few minutes' walk from the stadium.
From the main station (Dortmund Hbf): about 10 minutes by U-Bahn, or around 35 minutes on foot.
On match days, the ticket often includes regional public transport: check the wording on your ticket.
