See ticketsEintracht Frankfurt play at the Deutsche Bank Park, the former Waldstadion, built in 1925 in the heart of Frankfurt's city forest. Fully rebuilt for the 2006 World Cup, it holds around 58,000 for league games, including many standing places.
The stadium is an enclosed oval over two tiers, with a retractable roof. The side stands have the best seats and the Business Lounge, while the ends, including Eintracht's famous Nordwestkurve, offer the most intense atmosphere.
Since the 2022 Europa League win, tickets are in high demand, especially for games against Bayern, Dortmund and European nights.
Each stand offers a different experience. Here is what you need to know.
Haupttribüne
The main stand, with the dugouts and the Business Lounge. The central blocks of the lower tier offer the best view in the stadium.
Gegentribüne
The opposite side stand, over two tiers. The central lower blocks are among the most expensive, the upper ones a little more affordable.
Nordwestkurve
The legendary end of Eintracht's fans, with its standing terrace and giant tifos. Guaranteed atmosphere, in Category 2.
Kurve Ost
The opposite end, in Category 2. The blocks in both tiers are among the cheapest seats in the stadium.
S-Bahn S7, S8 or S9 to Frankfurt Stadion station, then about 10 minutes on foot through the forest.
Tram 21 to the Stadion stop. From the main station (Frankfurt Hbf), allow under 10 minutes by S-Bahn.
On match days, the ticket often includes regional public transport: check the wording on your ticket.
The regional derbies against Mainz and Darmstadt, and the historic rivalry with Kickers Offenbach, are the hottest games for the fans. The fixtures against Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are the most expensive tickets of the season.
Frankfurt were German champions in 1959 and have won five German Cups, the 1980 UEFA Cup and the 2022 Europa League. The club plays the Bundesliga every season (17 home games), the German Cup and often a European competition.
Karl-Heinz "Charly" Körbel, the Bundesliga's record appearance-maker, Jürgen Grabowski, Bernd Hölzenbein, Uwe Bein, Anthony Yeboah and Alex Meier, nicknamed "Fußballgott", left their mark on the club. On the French side, Randal Kolo Muani and Hugo Ekitike shone there before moving to big clubs.
Eintracht Frankfurt was founded in 1899. Nicknamed "die Adler" (the Eagles), after the eagle on its crest, the club won the German title in 1959, then reached the 1960 European Cup final, lost 7-3 to Real Madrid in a legendary game.
A founding member of the Bundesliga in 1963, Frankfurt won the German Cup in 1974, 1975, 1981 and 1988, as well as the 1980 UEFA Cup. The club then went through harder years, with several relegations.
The revival came with the 2018 German Cup, then the 2022 Europa League, won on penalties against Rangers in Seville after a run driven by thousands of travelling fans. The Deutsche Bank Park is now one of the most electric stadiums in Europe.
