See ticketsOpened in July 2006, the Emirates Stadium replaced Highbury, Arsenal's home since 1913. It stands in Holloway, north London, a few hundred metres from the old ground, now converted into flats. With around 60,700 seats it is one of the largest stadiums in England.
The stadium is a continuous bowl: four connected stands with no open corners, over three levels. The Lower Tier is closest to the pitch, the Club Level in the middle holds premium seats and boxes, and the Upper Tier gives a full view of the game. The roof covers almost every seat and sightlines are good throughout.
Around the ground the club celebrates its history: statues of Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Tony Adams, Herbert Chapman and Arsène Wenger, murals of legends on the outer walls, and the famous Highbury clock, now above the Clock End.
Each stand offers a different experience. Here is what you need to know.
North Bank
Behind the north goal, home to many of the most loyal fans. The best choice for atmosphere.
Clock End
Behind the south goal, under the clock inherited from the old Highbury stadium. Away fans are seated in one corner of this stand.
East Stand
Side stand with a full view of the pitch. A good balance between view and price.
West Stand
The other side stand, home to much of the hospitality area. Often the most expensive.
Arsenal Underground station (Piccadilly line): the closest, about a 5-minute walk.
Highbury & Islington (Victoria line and Overground): about a 10-minute walk.
Holloway Road (Piccadilly line) and Finsbury Park (Piccadilly and Victoria lines): handy to avoid the crowds after the match.
Arsenal's biggest rivals are Tottenham, their north London neighbours. The North London Derby is the most anticipated match of the season for Gunners fans and one of the fiercest in England. London derbies against Chelsea are also intense, as are games against Manchester United, the great rival of the Wenger-Ferguson era, and Manchester City or Liverpool, direct title rivals in recent seasons. These are the most sought-after and expensive tickets.
Every season Arsenal play the Premier League (38 matches, 19 at the Emirates), the FA Cup and the League Cup (Carabao Cup). The club also plays in Europe, most often the Champions League, which brings big European nights to the Emirates midweek. In total Arsenal usually play 25 to 30 home matches a season.
The club has many legends: Thierry Henry, the club's all-time top scorer, Dennis Bergkamp, Tony Adams, Patrick Vieira, Ian Wright, Robert Pires, David Seaman and Liam Brady. Under Arsène Wenger the club also had a strong French connection, from Emmanuel Petit to Sylvain Wiltord. Today academy graduate Bukayo Saka is the face of the new generation.
Arsenal was founded in 1886 in Woolwich, south-east London, as Dial Square, by workers at the Royal Arsenal munitions factory — hence the club's name and the cannon on its crest. It became Woolwich Arsenal, joined the Football League in 1893 and moved to Highbury in north London in 1913.
Under Herbert Chapman in the 1930s, Arsenal became one of England's dominant clubs. The Arsène Wenger era (1996-2018) made it legendary, above all through the 2003-04 'Invincibles' who won the league without losing a game. The club also holds the record for FA Cup wins.
In 2006 Arsenal left Highbury for the Emirates Stadium, a few hundred metres away, with over 60,000 seats. Since Mikel Arteta took charge in late 2019, the Gunners are back among the best sides in England and Europe, making Emirates tickets some of the most sought-after in the Premier League.
Arsenal's next match at the Emirates Stadium is Arsenal - Hull City on Saturday, 7 November 2026 at 15:00. Tickets start from €105 on our comparison.

Prices depend on the opponent, the stand and the date. Big games (London derbies, Liverpool, Manchester City or Manchester United) cost much more. Right now, tickets start from €2 on our site (per ticket, excluding fees). Upper-tier seats behind the goals are usually the cheapest; Club Level and boxes the most expensive.
Arsenal sells almost all its tickets to season-ticket holders and paying members, and general sales are rare. Without a membership you have two options: hospitality (VIP) packages or the resale sites we compare, which list tickets for most matches. This is the safest route: avoid tickets sold on social media or between individuals, where scams are common. Our partners are selected for their reliability and guarantee their tickets: if anything goes wrong, their customer service will offer a refund or a replacement solution.
Arsenal play at the Emirates Stadium in Holloway, north London. Opened in 2006, it holds around 60,700 fans and replaced Highbury, the club's home from 1913 to 2006. The nearest Tube stations are Arsenal, Holloway Road and Highbury & Islington.
Yes. The Emirates offers many hospitality options: Club Level seats, the Diamond Club, private boxes or dining packages, often with the best views. On each match map, our partners' VIP and hospitality offers are listed alongside regular tickets.
Arsenal tickets are usually mobile tickets, shown on your phone at the turnstiles. They are typically sent a few days before the match, sometimes only 24-48 hours before. The exact delivery method is shown on each offer and on the reseller's site.
Generally no: stadium tours are not offered on match days and often not the day before. To see the dressing rooms and pitchside, book the tour on another day of your trip and check dates on the club's official site.
