See ticketsUdinese play at the Bluenergy Stadium, formerly the Stadio Friuli, built in 1976 in the Rizzi district, north-west of Udine. The stadium was fully rebuilt between 2013 and 2016: the athletics track disappeared, the stands were moved closer to the pitch and covered, and only the main stand's large arch was kept.
The stadium holds around 25,000 seats. The main stand, under the arch, holds the central seats, the presidential box, the Sky Box suites and the press. Opposite, the East stand offers a side view over two levels. The Bianconeri fans gather in the Curva Nord, while the Curva Sud hosts the away section.
Modern and comfortable, the Bluenergy Stadium is one of the most pleasant grounds in Serie A. Tickets are usually easy to find, except for games against Inter, Milan, Juventus or Napoli.
Each stand offers a different experience. Here is what you need to know.
Tribuna Ovest
The main stand under the large arch, with Platinum seats, VIP areas, the presidential box and the Sky Boxes.
Tribuna Est
The opposite side stand, on two levels: Platinum in the centre, Gold and Silver towards the ends.
Curva Nord
The Udinese fans' end, with the liveliest atmosphere. Category 2, among the cheapest seats.
Curva Sud
The opposite end, which hosts the away section. View down the length of the pitch.
City buses and match-day shuttles from Udine station (about 15 minutes).
By car: direct access via the western ring road, with large car parks around the stadium.
From Venice or Trieste: train to Udine (about 1 h 30 from Venice), then bus or taxi.
Udinese represent the whole of Friuli. Their hottest games are against Venezia, neighbours from Veneto, and against the big northern clubs, Inter, Milan and Juventus, whose black and white colours they share.
The club won the 1980 Mitropa Cup and the 1978 Anglo-Italian Cup, and finished second in the league in 1955. Under Alberto Zaccheroni, then Luciano Spalletti and Francesco Guidolin, they played in several European competitions, including the Champions League in 2005. They play Serie A (19 home games) and the Coppa Italia.
Zico, who arrived in 1983, made all of Friuli dream. Antonio Di Natale, the club's all-time top scorer and twice Serie A capocannoniere, remains the ultimate idol. Oliver Bierhoff, Alexis Sánchez and Rodrigo de Paul also shone in Udine.
Udinese Calcio traces its roots to the Società Udinese di Ginnastica e Scherma, founded in 1896, making it one of Italy's oldest clubs. Its black and white colours earned it the nickname "Zebrette" (little zebras), and the club is also called "the Friulani".
Long confined to the lower divisions, the club reached a first peak in 1955 with second place in Serie A. Zico's arrival in 1983 put Udine on the world football map, even though the club still moved between Serie A and Serie B.
Since the Pozzo family's takeover in 1986, Udinese has become a benchmark for scouting talent abroad. In Serie A since 1995, it has played in the Champions League and several UEFA Cups, and rebuilt its own stadium, a rarity in Italy.

Udinese is one of the most affordable clubs in Serie A, except for games against Inter, Milan, Juventus or Napoli. Right now, tickets start at €28. The ends are the cheapest seats, the centre of the main stand the most expensive.
Yes, as everywhere in Italy: each ticket bears the spectator's name and ID may be requested. Buy from the resellers we compare rather than on social media: they are reliable and guarantee their tickets, with a refund or solution if there's a problem.
The stadium is about 4 km north-west of central Udine. City buses and shuttles link the station to the stadium on match days. By car, it is close to the ring road, with large car parks around the ground.
Yes, the main stand hosts VIP areas, the presidential box and Sky Box suites with dining. When our partners sell them, they appear on the match map.
