Premier League · Season 2026-2027
AFC Bournemouth, nicknamed "The Cherries", is the south coast club behind one of English football's most remarkable rises, from the lower leagues to the Premier League. It plays at the Vitality Stadium, the smallest ground in the league with just over 11,000 seats.

See ticketsThe Vitality Stadium, long known as Dean Court, has been Bournemouth's home since 1910. Set in Kings Park on the east side of town, it was completely rebuilt in the early 2000s. With around 11,300 seats, it is by far the smallest stadium in the Premier League.
Its four stands are all single-tier and very close to the pitch: the West Main Stand, the main stand with the boxes, the East Stand opposite, where away fans sit, and two stands behind the goals named after two club legends, the Steve Fletcher North Stand and the Ted MacDougall South Stand.
That small size creates an intimate, almost family atmosphere, but makes tickets very scarce: with so few seats, most go to season-ticket holders. The club is working on a plan to expand the stadium to welcome more fans.
Each stand offers a different experience. Here is what you need to know.
West Main Stand
The main stand, with the dugouts, the press area and a row of VIP boxes. The best side view in the ground.
East Stand
Side stand opposite the Main Stand. Away fans occupy the section next to the Ted MacDougall South Stand (blocks 22 to 24).
Steve Fletcher North Stand
Behind the north goal, named after the club's record appearance-maker. One of the liveliest stands for Cherries fans.
Ted MacDougall South Stand
Behind the south goal, in tribute to the legendary 1970s striker. A family-friendly stand, close to the pitch like the rest of the ground.
Pokesdown station: about a 20-minute walk, served by trains from London Waterloo and Southampton.
Bournemouth station: about a 30-minute walk, or a few minutes by bus to Kings Park.
Buses from the town centre: several routes stop near Kings Park, a few minutes' walk from the ground.
The south coast derby against Southampton is the game Cherries fans look forward to most, ahead of meetings with Portsmouth when the two clubs cross paths. In the Premier League, visits from big clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool or Arsenal send demand soaring in such a small ground.
Bournemouth play the Premier League (19 matches at the Vitality Stadium), the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup. Back in the top flight since 2022, the club has settled there thanks to an attacking, high-pressing style driven by manager Andoni Iraola.
Steve Fletcher, the record appearance-maker, and Ted MacDougall, who scored nine goals in a single FA Cup game in 1971, gave their names to the stands. Eddie Howe, player and then manager of the Premier League promotion, remains an icon. Callum Wilson, Junior Stanislas, Dominic Solanke and Antoine Semenyo also thrilled Dean Court.
The club was founded in 1899 as Boscombe FC, from an old parish club. It moved to Dean Court in 1910 and took the name AFC Bournemouth in 1972. Its red-and-black striped shirts are said to be inspired by AC Milan's.
For most of its history, Bournemouth played in the lower divisions. Its greatest feat of that era was beating holders Manchester United in the FA Cup in 1984. In 2008 the club came close to folding and went into administration.
Then came the most improbable rise in English football: under Eddie Howe, Bournemouth climbed from the fourth tier to the Premier League in a few seasons, reaching the top flight for the first time in 2015. After relegation in 2020, the Cherries won their place back in 2022.
The Cherries host Bournemouth - Leeds United on Saturday, 31 October 2026 at 15:00. Tickets start from €99 on our comparison.

With only 11,000 seats, tickets are scarce and prices rise quickly, especially for the Southampton derby and visits from big clubs. Right now, prices start from €51 on our site (per ticket, excluding fees). The stands behind the goals are usually a little cheaper than the side stands.
It's hard through official ticketing: the ground is so small that season-ticket holders and members buy almost every seat. Without a membership, hospitality packages and the resale sites we compare are the best solution, and the safest, away from fake listings on social media. Our partners are selected for their reliability and guarantee their tickets: if there's a problem, their customer service offers a refund or a solution.
The stadium is in Kings Park, east of Bournemouth town centre. Pokesdown station is about a 20-minute walk, Bournemouth station around 30 minutes. Several buses also serve Kings Park from the town centre.
Yes. A row of private boxes runs along the West Main Stand, with dining and a direct view of the pitch, and other hospitality packages are offered in the main stand. Our partners' VIP offers are shown on each match map.
Bournemouth tickets are mostly mobile, shown on your phone at the stadium entrance. They usually arrive a few days before the match, sometimes the day before. Each offer states the delivery method.
No, stadium tours are generally not offered on match days. To enjoy one, pick another date and check availability on the club's official site.
