See ticketsReal Betis play this season at the Estadio de La Cartuja, Seville's big Olympic stadium opened in 1999 on the island of La Cartuja. The club moved there during the complete rebuild of its historic home, the Benito Villamarín, with works expected to last until 2027-2028.
La Cartuja is a large oval with an athletics track: the Tribuna Este and Tribuna Oeste run along the pitch, the Gol Norte and Gol Sur are behind the goals. The lower and middle blocks of the side stands (Category 1 Premium) offer the best view.
Tickets are sought after all season, especially for the Gran Derbi against Sevilla FC and games against Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid.
Each stand offers a different experience. Here is what you need to know.
Tribuna Oeste
The main stand, over three levels, with the boxes and the small pitch-side blocks (1 to 24). The central lower blocks (100 to 103, 125 to 127) offer the best view, the upper tier (500s) is more affordable.
Tribuna Este
The opposite side stand, with the same layout: blocks 111 to 117 at the bottom (Category 1 Premium) and the upper tier 528 to 540 (Category 1).
Gol Sur
Behind the goal, the Gol Sur is home to Betis's most passionate fans. Category 3 seats in the centre and Category 2 in the corners, among the cheapest in the stadium.
Gol Norte
Behind the other goal, the Gol Norte offers affordable seats (Category 3 and 2). Because of the athletics track, the seats behind the goals are further from the pitch.
The stadium is on the island of La Cartuja, north-west of Seville's centre: allow around 40 minutes on foot from the cathedral.
On match days, extra city buses and special shuttles run from the centre and the main districts.
Arrive early: getting into the stadium takes time and transport is very busy after the match. Check the gate shown on your ticket.
The Gran Derbi against Sevilla FC, the city's other club, is one of the fiercest derbies in Europe. Games against Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are the other big fixtures. These are the most expensive and sought-after tickets.
Betis have won one Spanish league title (1935) and three Copas del Rey (1977, 2005 and 2022), and reached the Conference League final in 2025. They play LaLiga every season (19 home games) and the Copa del Rey.
Rafael Gordillo, Hipólito Rincón, Alfonso, Denílson, Rubén Castro and Joaquín, the club's own son, left their mark on Betis. On the French side, Nabil Fekir, 2018 world champion, was one of the verdiblanco crowd's favourites.
Real Betis Balompié was founded in 1907 in Seville. Its fans, the "Béticos", wear green and white and are known for their loyalty, summed up by the club's motto: "¡Viva el Betis manque pierda!", long live Betis even when they lose.
The club won its only Spanish league title in 1935, then had its ups and downs between the first and second divisions. It settled at the Benito Villamarín, later named after its former president.
The 2005 and 2022 Copas del Rey, then the 2025 Conference League final, marked its return to the top. The club now plays at La Cartuja while waiting for its new Villamarín, one of Spain's great stadiums of the future.
Betis's next match at La Cartuja is Real Betis - Málaga on Saturday, 31 October 2026 at 18:30. Tickets start from €45 on our comparison.
