See ticketsSelhurst Park has been Crystal Palace's home since 1924. Tucked among the houses of South Norwood in south London, it is an old-school ground, compact and close to the pitch, where noise echoes from stand to stand. With nearly 25,500 seats, it is one of the smallest stadiums in the Premier League, which makes tickets especially scarce.
Four stands surround it: the two-tier Holmesdale Road Stand behind the goal, the beating heart of the support, the historic Main Stand with the VIP lounges, the Arthur Wait Stand opposite, where away fans sit, and the small Whitehorse Lane Stand, home to the executive boxes.
Selhurst Park's atmosphere is famous across England, driven by the songs and drums of the Holmesdale. For several years the club has been working on a plan to expand the Main Stand to welcome more fans.
Each stand offers a different experience. Here is what you need to know.
Holmesdale Road Stand
Home of the loudest fans, over two tiers behind the goal. Songs, flags and drums from start to finish: the place to be for atmosphere.
Main Stand
The historic 1924 stand along the pitch. It houses the dugouts and most hospitality lounges, with a central view of the pitch.
Arthur Wait Stand
Large single-tier side stand opposite the Main Stand. Away fans are seated here, in the section next to Whitehorse Lane.
Whitehorse Lane Stand
The smallest stand, behind the goal opposite the Holmesdale. It hosts the executive boxes and a family area, in a calmer setting.
Selhurst station: about a 10-minute walk, with direct trains from London Victoria and London Bridge (around 20 minutes).
Norwood Junction station: about a 15-minute walk, served by trains and the Overground from central London.
Thornton Heath station: about a 15-minute walk, often less crowded after the match.
The hottest game of the season is the M23 derby against Brighton, a rivalry born in the 1970s and as intense as ever. London derbies against Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham or West Ham also draw big crowds, as do visits from the big northern clubs.
Palace play the Premier League every season (19 matches at Selhurst Park), the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup. In 2025 the club won the FA Cup by beating Manchester City at Wembley, the first major trophy in its history, then the Community Shield against Liverpool, before discovering European football.
Ian Wright and Mark Bright, the 1990s strike partnership, record appearance-maker Jim Cannon and goalkeeper Julián Speroni won fans' hearts. More recently, academy graduate Wilfried Zaha, Eberechi Eze, scorer in the 2025 final, and French striker Jean-Philippe Mateta became Selhurst's new heroes.
Crystal Palace was founded in 1905 at the foot of the Crystal Palace, the vast glass-and-iron building made for the 1851 Great Exhibition and later moved to south London. The club played its first games there before moving to Selhurst Park in 1924.
Long nicknamed "The Glaziers", the club became "The Eagles" in the 1970s under manager Malcolm Allison, who adopted the eagle as its emblem. In 1990, Steve Coppell's side, led by Ian Wright, reached the FA Cup final for the first time, losing to Manchester United after a replay.
A founding member of the Premier League in 1992, Palace went through several promotions and relegations before settling in the top flight from 2013. Under Oliver Glasner, the club enjoyed the best season in its history in 2025 with its first FA Cup.

As the ground is small, seats go fast and prices rise for big games: the Brighton derby and visits from top clubs are the most expensive. Right now, tickets start from €70 on our site (per ticket, excluding fees). The Arthur Wait Stand and the Whitehorse Lane Stand are often the most affordable.
With only 25,000 seats, almost all official tickets go to season-ticket holders and members. Without a membership, you can turn to hospitality packages or the resale sites we compare. It's the safest route: fake listings are common on social media. Our partners are chosen for their reliability and guarantee their tickets: if there's an issue, their customer service refunds you or offers a solution.
Selhurst Park is in South Norwood, south London. There is no Tube nearby: take the train to Selhurst (about 20 minutes from London Victoria or London Bridge), then walk for about 10 minutes. Norwood Junction and Thornton Heath are about a 15-minute walk.
Yes. The Main Stand hosts several lounges, such as the Glaziers, the 2010 Club and the Malcolm Allison, and the Whitehorse Lane Stand houses the executive boxes. Our partners' VIP offers are shown on each match map.
They are usually mobile tickets, scanned from your phone at the stadium entrance. They are sent a few days before the match, sometimes only the day before. Each offer states the delivery method.
