See ticketsTorino play at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, in the south of the city, in the Santa Rita district. Opened in 1933, it was fully renovated for the 2006 Winter Olympics, then renamed in honour of the legendary "Grande Torino" team, lost in the Superga air disaster in 1949.
The stadium holds around 28,000 seats, spread over three levels of numbered blocks (001 to 040 pitch-side, 101 to 141, 201 to 255, then the upper ring 301 to 330). The Tribuna Granata hosts the central seats and VIP areas. Opposite, the Distinti Granata offer a side view. The Granata ultras gather in the Curva Maratona, facing the Curva Primavera.
The Derby della Mole against Juventus is the game of the year for Toro fans. Games against Inter, Milan or Napoli also fill the Olimpico, in an atmosphere steeped in history.
Each stand offers a different experience. Here is what you need to know.
Tribuna Granata
The main stand, with Premium blocks in the centre and pitch-side, and the VIP areas. The most comfortable view.
Distinti Granata
The opposite side stand. The centre is Premium, the upper tier and sides Category 1, more affordable.
Curva Maratona
The Torino ultras' end, the heart of the Granata atmosphere. Category 3, among the cheapest seats.
Curva Primavera
The opposite end, which also hosts the away section. The corners (Category 2) offer a diagonal view.
GTT trams and buses from Porta Nuova station: about 20 minutes to the Santa Rita district.
On foot: about 35 minutes from the city centre, via Corso Unione Sovietica.
By car: car parks around the stadium, to be reached early on big match days.
The Derby della Mole against Juventus, named after the Mole Antonelliana, Turin's landmark, is one of Italy's oldest. Torino see themselves as the city's people's club, facing the Agnelli family's Juventus. Games against Inter, Milan and Napoli are also closely followed.
Torino have won seven Italian titles, including five in a row between 1943 and 1949 with the Grande Torino, and the last in 1976. They also have five Coppa Italia trophies and the 1991 Mitropa Cup, and played in the 1992 UEFA Cup final. They play Serie A every season (19 home games) and the Coppa Italia.
Valentino Mazzola, captain of the Grande Torino, remains the club's eternal symbol. Paolino Pulici, Francesco Graziani, Claudio Sala, Gigi Meroni and later Andrea Belotti, "il Gallo", also thrilled the Granata faithful.
Torino Football Club was founded in 1906 by Juventus dissidents and members of a Swiss club in Turin. Its colour, granata (maroon), is said to have been chosen in honour of the Duke of the Abruzzi. The bull, symbol of Turin, adorns its crest, hence the nickname "Il Toro".
In the 1940s, the Grande Torino dominated Italian football: five titles in a row and up to ten starters in the national team. On 4 May 1949, the plane bringing the team back from Lisbon crashed into the Superga hill, killing the players and staff. The club and all of Italy remain forever marked by it.
Torino won a last Scudetto in 1976 and reached the UEFA Cup final in 1992. After bankruptcy in 2005, the club was reborn under president Urbano Cairo and settled in Serie A, still carried by the memory of the Grande Torino.
Il Toro's next home game: Torino - Lecce on Saturday, 7 November 2026 at 15:00. Tickets from €35 on our comparison.
