See ticketsAfter 133 years at Goodison Park, Everton moved in 2025 to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, built on the former Bramley-Moore Dock on the banks of the Mersey. Brick, steel and large glazed sections echo Liverpool's maritime past, blending the stadium into the city's historic northern docks.
It has four stands: the South Stand, a huge single-tier wall of fans behind the goal, the West Stand, the main stand with the boxes and VIP lounges, the East Stand opposite on the river side, and the North Stand behind the other goal, where away fans are seated. With nearly 53,000 seats, it is one of the biggest grounds in the country.
The stadium was designed to keep Goodison's atmosphere: steep stands, a roof that traps the noise and fans close to the pitch. Tickets flew out for its first season, and demand remains strong for most matches.
Each stand offers a different experience. Here is what you need to know.
South Stand
The huge stand behind the goal, on a single steep tier designed for atmosphere. This is where Everton's most passionate fans gather.
West Stand
The main stand, with the dugouts, boxes and most of the hospitality areas. A high-quality central view of the pitch.
East Stand
Two-tier side stand opposite the West Stand, on the river side. A good alternative for a side view at a more affordable price.
North Stand
Behind the other goal, over two tiers. Away fans are seated here, in the corner next to the East Stand.
Shuttles from the city centre: on match days, buses link central Liverpool to the stadium in about 15 minutes.
Sandhills station (Merseyrail, Northern line): about a 20-minute walk from the stadium.
On foot from central Liverpool: about 30 minutes along the docks, a pleasant walk before the match.
The Merseyside derby against Liverpool is one of the oldest and most hotly contested in England. The two grounds are only a few kilometres apart, and many local families are split between blue and red. It is the most expensive and sought-after game of the season.
Everton have won nine English league titles, the last in 1987, five FA Cups and the 1985 Cup Winners' Cup. The club also holds a unique record: it has played in the top flight without a break since 1954. Every season it plays the Premier League (19 home games), the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup.
Dixie Dean, who scored 60 league goals in 1927-28, a record that still stands, is the club's greatest legend. Howard Kendall, Neville Southall, Graeme Sharp, Duncan Ferguson and Tim Cahill also won fans' hearts, as did academy graduate Wayne Rooney. Among French speakers, Abdoulaye Doucouré and Idrissa Gueye were pillars of the midfield.
Everton was born in 1878 as St Domingo's, the team of a Methodist chapel in the Everton district, taking the district's name a year later. A founding member of the Football League in 1888, the club first played at Anfield, then moved to Goodison Park in 1892 after a dispute with its landlord, who went on to found… Liverpool FC.
The nickname "Toffees" is said to come from a sweet shop near the old ground, famous for its toffees. In the 1920s and 1930s, driven by Dixie Dean, Everton won several titles. The 1960s and above all the mid-1980s under Howard Kendall were its other great eras, bringing two titles and a Cup Winners' Cup.
In 2025 the club turned a historic page by leaving Goodison Park for the Hill Dickinson Stadium on the Mersey docks, opening a new chapter for one of the oldest and most loyal clubs in England's top flight.
The Toffees' next home game: Everton - Coventry City on Friday, 6 November 2026 at 20:00. Tickets are available from €85 on our site.

Prices vary with the opponent and the stand. The Liverpool derby is by far the most expensive game, followed by visits from big clubs. Right now, tickets start from €51 on our site (per ticket, excluding fees). The upper tiers behind the goals are usually the cheapest, the West Stand and its VIP lounges the most expensive.
Official ticketing is mainly open to season-ticket holders and members, and big games are rarely available to the general public. Hospitality packages and the resale sites we compare remain the safest option: scams are common on social media. Our partners are selected for their reliability and guarantee their tickets: if there's a problem, their customer service always offers a refund or a solution.
The stadium is built on Bramley-Moore Dock, north of Liverpool city centre, on the banks of the Mersey. On match days, shuttles run from the city centre. Sandhills station is about a 20-minute walk away, and the centre is around 30 minutes on foot along the docks.
Yes. The West Stand houses the private boxes and several hospitality lounges, with dining and central seats. Our partners' VIP offers appear on each match map, alongside regular tickets.
For Everton, these are mostly mobile tickets, shown on your phone at the entrance. They are sent a few days before the match, sometimes only the day before. The delivery method is stated on each offer.
Generally no: tours are not run on match days. To see the new stadium behind the scenes, plan the tour for another day and check dates on the club's official site.
