See ticketsReal Madrid play at the Santiago Bernabéu, opened in 1947 on the Paseo de la Castellana, in the heart of Madrid. Fully renovated between 2019 and 2024, it is now one of the most modern stadiums in the world, with a retractable roof, a retractable pitch and a 360-degree screen, for over 80,000 spectators.
The stadium has two side stands, Lateral Este and Lateral Oeste, and two ends behind the goals, over five levels. The boxes and VIP areas are in the centre of the west stand, and the central lower blocks offer the best view of the pitch.
Tickets are in high demand all season. El Clásico against FC Barcelona and the derby against Atlético de Madrid are by far the most sought-after, along with big Champions League nights.
Each stand offers a different experience. Here is what you need to know.
The main stand, with the dugouts, the press box, the boxes and the VIP Box. The central lower blocks (Category 1 Platinum) offer the best view in the stadium.
The opposite side stand, over five levels. The central blocks of the lower tiers are Category 1 Platinum and Gold, the top tier (600s) Category 2 Lateral, more affordable.
Behind one goal, the Fondo Sur is home to the Real supporters' singing section, the loudest part of the stadium. The lower blocks are Category 2, the upper tiers Categories 3 and 4.
Behind the other goal, over five levels. The upper tiers (Categories 3 and 4) are among the cheapest seats in the stadium, with a bird's-eye view of the whole pitch.
Hover over the plan to find each area. Prices by stand are shown on each match page.
Metro line 10, Santiago Bernabéu station, right in front of the stadium.
Nuevos Ministerios station (metro and Cercanías trains) about a 10-minute walk away, linked to Madrid-Barajas airport.
Arrive early: security checks at the entrances can take time on big match nights.
