See ticketsRB Leipzig play at the Red Bull Arena, built inside the old Zentralstadion, a 1956 stadium that could hold 100,000 spectators. Opened in 2004 and used at the 2006 World Cup, it holds around 47,000, right next to the pitch.
The stadium has four stands split into sectors: Sektor A and Sektor C along the pitch, with the VIP boxes on the Sektor A side, Sektor D behind one goal, and Sektor B, the end of the most passionate fans, with its standing terrace.
Driven by its results in the Bundesliga and the Champions League, the club regularly fills its stadium. The games against Bayern and Dortmund are the most in demand.
Each stand offers a different experience. Here is what you need to know.
The main stand, with the dugouts and the VIP-Bereich. Lower blocks 16 to 22 (Category 1 Platinum) offer the best view in the stadium.
The opposite side stand. Lower blocks 1, 2, 34 and 35 are Category 1 Platinum, upper blocks 101, 102 and 135 Category 1 Silver.
The end of Leipzig's most passionate fans, with its standing terrace. Guaranteed atmosphere, in Category 2.
Behind the other goal, in Category 2. The upper corners (Category 3) are among the cheapest seats in the stadium.
Hover over the plan to find each area. Prices by stand are shown on each match page.
On foot from the main station (Leipzig Hbf): about 25 minutes through the city centre.
By tram to the Sportforum stops, a few minutes from the stadium. On match days, extra trams run.
On match days, the ticket often includes regional public transport: check the wording on your ticket.
