See ticketsBayer Leverkusen play at the BayArena, opened in 1958 as the Ulrich-Haberland-Stadion and renamed in 1998. Fully modernised between 2007 and 2009, it holds around 30,000: a compact, covered stadium where you are very close to the pitch.
The stadium has four stands: the Westtribüne and Osttribüne along the pitch, with the VIP areas in the centre, and the Nordtribüne and Südtribüne behind the goals. The corners link the stands without a break.
Since the unbeaten title of 2024, tickets are in much higher demand. The Rhine derby against 1. FC Köln and the games against Bayern and Dortmund are the most sought-after.
Each stand offers a different experience. Here is what you need to know.
The main stand, with the dugouts and the VIP areas. The central blocks F1 to F4 (Category 1 Platinum) offer the best view in the stadium.
The opposite side stand. Lower blocks B1 to B4 (Category 1 Platinum) are closest to the pitch, upper blocks B5 to B9 (Category 1 Silver) a little cheaper.
Behind one goal, with the SD and D blocks in Category 2. A lively stand with gentler prices.
Behind the other goal, with blocks H1 to H4 in Category 2. The neighbouring corners are often the cheapest seats in the stadium.
Hover over the plan to find each area. Prices by stand are shown on each match page.
S6, RE1 or RE5 train to Leverkusen Mitte station, then about 20 minutes on foot to the stadium.
From Cologne: around 20 minutes by train to Leverkusen Mitte.
On match days, the ticket often includes regional public transport: check the wording on your ticket.
