See ticketsBayern have played at the Allianz Arena since 2005. Built in the north of Munich, in the Fröttmaning district, the stadium replaced the 1972 Olympic Stadium. Its façade of inflatable panels glows red on Bayern match nights, making it one of the most recognisable stadiums in the world.
The ground holds around 75,000 seats over three very steep tiers close to the pitch. The Südkurve, behind one goal, is the heart of the support, with standing places in the lower tier. The Haupttribüne houses the Business Seats and boxes, the Gegentribüne faces it, and the Nordkurve hosts the away section high up.
Bayern have several hundred thousand members, and almost every match is a sell-out. Games against Dortmund or Leverkusen and big Champions League nights are the most in demand.
Each stand offers a different experience. Here is what you need to know.
The main stand, with the dugouts, the Business Seats in the middle tier and the boxes. The central blocks (Category 1 Platinum) offer the best view in the stadium.
The opposite side stand, over three tiers. The lower and middle tiers are Category 1, the upper tier Categories 1 and 2, often a little cheaper.
The Bayern fans' end, with standing places in the lower tier. Songs, flags and tifos throughout the match: the liveliest atmosphere at the Allianz Arena.
The opposite end, with standing places at the bottom. The away section is in the upper tier (blocks 340 to 347).
Hover over the plan to find each area. Prices by stand are shown on each match page.
U-Bahn U6, Fröttmaning station: about a 15-minute walk to the stadium along the esplanade, and around 20 minutes from Marienplatz.
On match days, the ticket often includes Munich public transport: check the wording on your ticket.
By car: A9 motorway, Fröttmaning exit, with a large multi-storey car park next to the stadium. Expect queues when leaving.
